WikMail Stationery Tutorial - Pinocchio.
WikMail Stationery Outpost
Use these 3 Graphics to get the practice. Just right click and "save as" to your desktop or somewhere handy. You can of course use your own graphics or tubes here. I saved them as follows. The Text graphic is pinocchio_header.jpg. The large Pinocchio pic is pinocchio1.jpg and the little pinnocchio is pinnocchio_messagearea.jpg

Example of Finished Stationery
This little tutorial will provide practice in using more of the sections in the Stationery Creator. I tend to jump back and forward between the sections and start by putting a standard set of Margins in the General Section, just to have a starting point. Then these may be changed depending placement of pics and how the layout looks. However for the purpose of the tutorial I have to write it in some sort of order. Just remember when you do one of your own that you do not have to stick to this order of doing things..... so lets start.
Open Stationery Creator
Menu /Tools/Stationery Creator. See below.

In Stationery Creator Click on Sections/General.
Name Your Stationery
I named it pinocchio and typed it in the box provided at the top.
Margins
Set the Margins to 20, 50, 100, 50
Scrollbar Colors
Now set the scroll bar colors. Play around with the colors until you get the match you like. (you might like to leave this until the letter is finished.)
Left Side
Click on Sections and select 'Left Side'.
check 'Use Left Side'.
Click 'Browse' and open the pic 'Pinocchio1.jpg'
Alignment - select 'Top Left'.
Go to Sections and select 'General' again. Under 'Background Color' use the Dropper Tool and click on the background of the Pinocchio pic.
Top Section
Click on 'Sections' and select 'Top Side Main' - check 'Use Top Section' (you must check this to be able to use positions in the top section.)
Now click Sections again and select 'Top Right' and check 'Use Top Section'. Width 25
Click on Browse and open the pic 'pinocchio_header.jpg
Alignment - select 'Centered'.
Message Area
Click on Sections and select 'Message Area'. Under Message Border set the Width to 10, Style to dotted. Now click on the color pallet and select a color - I chose a light blue
Message Text Margins
Set the margins at 30, 30, 20, 100. The 100 setting on the right is to ensure the text does not go over the Pinocchio graphic. that goes in next.
Background Image
Open the pic pinocchio_messagearea.jpg and set the alignment to 'Bottom Right'.
Transparency
No need to lower the Transparency unless you have a background that you want to show through the message area.
Select the Font and size
I chose Verdana size 10 and checked Bold.
Select the Font Color to suit.
I selected the yellow color from the Pinocchio header text.
Now click on sections and go back to General.
Set the scroll bar colors if you have not set them or they need changed.
Save Stationery
At the top left select a name for your stationery. Click on file/Save As.I decided to put it in a folder I had called 'Funny'. So I clicked on the Funny folder icon in the list provided and this was automatically placed in the space for the folder name. Then click 'Save Stationery As'. If you need a folder you just right click in the white space under the list on the left. The cursor will flash in the box and you type in the folder name you want. The folder is immediately listed with all the others. Now click 'Save Stationery As' and it will be saved in the WikMail program and will be available for you to use when sending mail.
Exporting as Zip or .exe file
If you need to save the Stationery as a Zip or exe file (or both) click on File/Export to Zip .exe File. Then click on the stationery you want to export (pinocchio, in the Funny folder on the list on the left.) Now, make sure that only the .exe is checked or the Zip or both depending what you require. Then click execute and accept. The exported files will be stored in Program Files/WikMail/Zip Stationery.
